How do you navigate the balance between being twin sisters and business partners?

A:
Being identical twins is already a unique bond, and growing up together has given us an even deeper connection. Since we were 15, we've traveled the world together through our work in the modeling industry, which not only gave us shared experiences but also helped us mature quickly. We've learned to rely on each other, finding a deep sense of security in our relationship - something that has been invaluable as business partners.

C:
Of course, blending sisterhood and business isn’t always easy, and the lines between the two often blur. But we see that as a strength. Our authentic sisterhood brings something special to our company and the way we work together. We often say that we wouldn’t have had the courage to take the company to where it is today without each other, and that still holds true. We wouldn't have done it alone.

What would you say are your key strengths, and how do you complement each other’s skills?

C:
Amalie’s greatest strength is her drive and go-getter energy!

A:
Cecilie brings structure and thoughtfulness. We’re similar in more ways than we would like to admit, but these key differences complement each other perfectly – especially in our work life.

Who are the women who have had the greatest impact on your life, and why?

A:
The women in our family and our closest friends have shaped us the most. Our mom, aunt, grandmother, our grandmother’s sister-in-law, cousin, older sister, and all the wonderful girlfriends we surround ourselves with – they are all strong, career-driven, supportive women with positive attitudes.

C:
They listen, they have opinions, and they inspire us every day. That’s also why we started naming our products after women, often those dear to us. It adds a layer of authenticity to what we create and serves as a constant reminder of the incredible women in our lives.

What’s your first memory of jewelry, and how has your relationship with it changed over time?

C + A:
Our earliest memory of jewelry is a gold necklace with a tiny engraved nameplate that we each received from our grandmother at birth. It’s subtle and timeless, and no matter where life takes us, it will always hold a special place in our hearts.

How would you describe your aesthetics?

A:
We would describe our aesthetics as classic, effortless, and minimalistic. Very much inspired by Carolyn Bessette Kennedy in the '90s. There’s a timelessness to her look that resonates with us.

C:
We love how she embraced the beauty of simplicity—nothing too flashy, just elegant and understated pieces that feel fresh yet enduring. That’s the essence of our aesthetic—creating a look that feels natural, refined, and always in style.
